The blessed son Mamdouh Salah is one of the poultry workers in our convent
in Krair. He is 24 years old. He told us the accident that happened to
him and how the kind hand of God cured him with the blessing of the prayer
of our beloved Mother Tamav Erene. This happened at the time when medicine
failed to help him or relieve his pain.
"On 12 June 2007, I was taking a nap with the rest of my colleagues,
the workers, in our room. It contains a group of three beds on top of each
other. They have wooden bars. I was resting on my bed while my colleague
on the upper bed was jumping and playing. All of a sudden the bed was broken
and fell with its wooden bars on me. I cannot describe the pain I felt.
I kept screaming. My friends tried to help me stand up, but I could not
do so except with my legs open. They had to hold me from both sides. In
addition, there was blood in my urine (Haematuria).
One of the people who serve at the convent was there by chance. Immediately
he took me with his car to the hospital of Bait al-Ne'ma in Alexandria.
There they performed the required examinations and X-rays. They revealed-as
indicated in the attached report- that I had a fractured pelvis and partial
laceration of my bladder. I remained in the hospital under treatment for
three days. Afterwards, I returned to the convent where I continued my
treatment but was still suffering from an incredible pain despite the pain
killers (analgesics) that I used to take.
I remained for two days in the convent unable to move except with great
difficulty and with the help of my colleagues. On the third day they left
me alone at noon. I was supposed to get some rest and sleep. But I was
crying bitterly for I felt that I was crippled. Besides, the pain was too
much to bear.
While lying in bed, I was saying, 'God, are You going to leave me like
this?' All of a sudden I saw right in front of me Tamav Erene wearing the
monastic garb but it was all in white. She told me, 'What is wrong with
you Mamdhou, my son?'
I told her, 'Tamav, I am very tired and in so much pain.' She asked me,
'Where does it hurt you?' I pointed to my side and abdomen, so she anoited
them with the holy oil and told me, 'Mamdouh, it's over. Get up and walk,
you are cured.' Immediately, the pain was gone, so I got up and started
moving in a normal way.
I ran to the nuns. I was jumping while I was tellling them in joy, 'I am
cured..I am cured!' I was pressing my legs on the ground while moving them
freely in alll directions without any pain. I was overwhelmed with joy
and truly felt the power of God, Heaven and the saints. I tasted the love
of the Martyr Abi Seifein and Tamav Erene and their care for me.
Amid the joy of everyone, the nuns and my friends the workers, I told them
about my vision of Tamav Erene. I described the way she looked and how
she was overflowing with peace as usual. I them how she anoited me with
oil and made me stand immediately."
